We're very excited to finally show some of the pictures of our big day. (Has it really been over two months already?!)

Hopefully those of you who were there had an amazing time, but from the looks of it, it seems that definitely was the case!

It's true what they say - you spend months organizing stuff and looking forward to it, and then before you know it, it's over.
That said, we like to think everything went pretty well.

We were lucky enough to have wonderful bridesmaids and groomsmen, touching and often hilarious speeches from our great maids of honor and best men, the love and (financial) support of our amazing parents and grandparents, and of course the well wishes and presence of our family and friends. All of our favorite people together in one room. (Technically a few people couldn't make it, but it's as close as it could possibly ever get.)

The rehearsal dinner was great, too, by the way. Good food, some great speeches (Chris, thanks for the engraved measuring tape! We use it, like, every time something in Europe is measured in inches...oh wait), and a few people seeing each other again after many years. The up-and downsides of Transatlantic friendships indeed.
We even had a post-wedding brunch to officially close the festivities. Again, we're obviously very lucky to have such a loving family who helped us to make all of this possible.

Honestly, the days flew by, and they exceeded our wildest expectations. It was heartwarming and humbling to have so many people we love come from all over the world to celebrate with us. To those of you that came from across the ocean: Know that we are very grateful, and we appreciate it enormously.

We were thrilled to see that everyone got along so well; families were joined, friendships were forged, and memories were made.
For example: For those from Belgium and The Netherlands, the time at the gun range unquestionably was a highlight, and probably the most American experience they could have ever hoped for. (You know, aside from the crazy elaborate wedding.)
We've also heard rumors about something that can only be described as "the shwamps incident", which is by now practically a legend among some of the guests on the Belgian side.

Anyway, thanks everyone for coming! It's a cliché, but our big day would not have been the same without you.
We hope you like the pics, and don't worry, we'll put more on Facebook eventually.
(True story - we kind of have to, because we have so many that our website's bandwidth can't handle all of them!)

Going forward, we'll be using this little corner on the Internet of ours to post the occasional update or blog post, so we hope you check in from time to time.

Much Love,

Thomas & Meredith
